Talked to my mom today and she let me know of Jeff's passing. I've had no contact with Jeff since my high school or early college days but I will always remember him as one of my favorite coaches of all time. He and his brother Tom coached our Little League team when I was 12, exactly 30 years ago this summer. We had a blast that year.
