It's always been hard living this far from family, but at times like this it seems downright cruel, as we wish we could do for you. We think of you daily, remembering Jeff with affection. My deepest sympathy at this difficult time. Jeff was such a gentle soul. His smile was wide, his laugh infectious. Knowing him in elementary and high school was truly a joy. He even made English class fun, and that's what I will always remember.

As I said in my e-mail, our thoughts and prayers are with you. My funniest memory of Jeff is when he put the striped, one piece bathing suit on and posed for pictures at McCreary's beach. He also threw me in the lake when I was about 24 years old. Only 28 years ago. His memory will live on forever.
