We ran on the track team at McClatchy. He was a class act. We both chose journalism as our profession. He excelled and set a wonderful standard for life. I miss you my friend -30-

We had our best memories when our kids were all young. We shared sports teams, school events and lots of friendship. Later Jeff and I (Nancy) served on the Sacramento Zoo Board together. He was a giant in the community in so many ways. Also, there couldn't have been a more fun person... we are so glad to have been friends.
