When Jeff was a graduate student at NAU he took pity on me working in the lab when I was really struggling as an older returning college student. His kindness was overwhelming as he had incredible patience. He later became my neighbor on Hemlock Way. He loved Karen so very deeply and his three sons matched only by his love of the outdoors. Such an incredible man and I feel truly blessed to have known him and am so very sad for his family. Please accept sincere condolences from the Haviland...
