Jeff N. Wilson 1974 - 2006 Jeff N. Wilson was born in Abilene on March 4, 1974. Jeff lived every moment to the fullest, these were his words: "You only get one shot at this life. Don't waste it. It could be gone any day. Travel. Blow some money. Go see some music, make some music, kiss...

Not sure what to say?

Dearest Diana, Jajaun, Don, the rest of Jeff's family including his wife, and friends.

I just learned of this tragedy. I really can't comprehend it. When Jeff and I were neighbors in the summer of 1995 at Baylor...we quickly became friends. He was kinda like a bright Kramer next door who was always popping in to fix something for us girls, cook, tell a funny story, or just hang out. Shortly thereafter, I met and lived with Diana (complete sweetheart) in their apt. while Jeff was...

Mandy,
I am so sorry that this happened. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love,

With your dedication and attitude, you touched our lives and as you did so many others. May the Lord look upon you and your family.

I met Jeff in the elevator at the court house. We were both leaving the jail to try and get people released. Over the next few weeks I developed great respect for Jeff. He was such a great guy. He's crossed the bridge now. Mandy and family, you're in my thoughts.

I went to Law School at Texas with Jeff where we were assigned projects together in classes. I then had the fortune to continue working with him in the practice of criminal law in Travis County. Two words (of many) that would describe Jeff- BRIGHT...and COOL. The saying "The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long" has never been more appropriate. Shine on Jeff.

Wilson Family,
Although I never met Jeff, I knew his story since Don and I flew together in the past and often discussed our lives and families. Don was obviously proud of Jeff and his accomplishments. What a senseless and tragic loss.

To Jeff's Family:
Jeff was an assistant County Attorney assigned to my Court, at the time I was a Justice of the Peace. I believe it was his first Court. He treated the staff, defendants, officers and defense attorneys with respect. He was prepared and very good at what he did. You knew that he had a bright future. This is truly a tragedy. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

May God Bless YOU and Your Family during this difficult time. I don't know Jeff, only through my daughter , Jana Ortega, and through the media do I know him, but I am sure he was the light of your life. Always keep those special memories.

I met Jeff and worked with Jeff shortly after law school. He left an impression on me that made me feel that I did not have to "become" an attorney, but that I could just stay myself and experience my same loves and passions and still practice law.
At this same time of first meeting Jeff, I had not long before awoke from a coma. I have shared my deepest prayers with Jeff throughout this time. I offer this experience, and the same experience of the people who I shared conversations...
