Not sure what to say?

I met Jeff when he was a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association. He was on a committee that I led as a staff person. He was one of my favorite people in the world. Jeff was smart, kind, passionate and had the most interesting life story. I could listen all day to his ideas and experiences. He was a mentor to me, and I will never forget him. I moved away from LA in 2006, and did not realize that Jeff had passed away. For his family, know that Jeff touch countless lives, including mine, and...

I am so sorry to hear of Jefferson's passing, and sorry that this guest book entry is late! Jefferson was in fact a generous supporter of PUENTE Learning Center, the educational nonprofit where I work. He was very energetic in our conversations, even when well into his 90s. He is dearly missed, and I am so grateful for getting to know him.

I'm so sorry this is so late. Jeff was a friend of my father, Jim Russell. They met at UCLA. My father thought very highly of Jeff. Jeff was in my parent's wedding in 1946.

I've been very preoccupied with caring for my mother the last year and didn't keep in touch. I'm sorry to be so late with my condolences.

Thank you for being my friend, Jeff. I will never, for the rest of my life, forget you. We grew up across the street from each other, separated by 60 years. Thank you for the warmth, kindness, and memories you shared. I can write the story of Agua Dulce and Vasquez Rocks because of you. I am so happy you are with your mom, dad, grandma, brother, and of course, your beloved Mary, once more. Thank you for everything you shared with me over the years. Will miss you always and think of you so...

I am so sad to read about Jeff's passing. Jeff and Mary lived in the same Boston apartments as my parents, Fred and Ellie Walker, in Brookline Mass back in the late 40s, and together had so many great memories together from their younger days after the war. When my husband and I moved to LA in 2012, we met Jeff for lunch at Tony Romas in Encino, and that lunch turned into frequent get togethers added to his busy Wednesdays in north LA. We bought a house just streets over from where Jeff...
