Not sure what to say?

Mr. Dong was my History teacher at Pasco High School in 1974. He always greeted his students upon entering the classroom and was always kind, outgoing, and genuinely friendly and caring. He was one of those people whom everyone respected and liked, and easily one of the best teachers, and best people I have ever known! Mr. Dong...you were an inspiration to me during my PHS days, and for that, I will forever be grateful! Sincerely, Dave Casale

I can vividly remember seeing Mr Dong standing in the hallway welcoming students into class each day... The history team was fantastic..Mr. Dong, Mr. Reynolds and Mr Banks. Amazing team of teachers... thanks for the dedication and caring for all the students throughout the years. What a gift to all of us who were fortunate to have him as a teacher.

Mr. Dong was an amazing teacher.....truly one of a kind. He made learning history fun and exciting. I loved going to his class each day, seeing that wonderful smile and listening to his wonderful stories and kind words. What an inspiration to us all....one of the many reasons I chose to become a teacher myself. It's been over 20 years since high school but I still remember him like it was yesterday. You will truly be missed, Mr. Dong.

Mr. Dong was an awesome teacher and with that KEEN sense of humor knew how to guide many of us in the right direction. God Bless You, Awesome Teacher! You will be missed...

"Dong" as we called him was a man of substance. He taught me to give more of myself than I knew I had to give. Through numerous road trips and dinners, he questioned my thinking and made me stronger. He always saw more in us than we ever saw in ourselves. I never knew whether Jeff drove because he was afraid of my driving or whether it was just because he knew I like to nap on the road. Whatever the reasons the good times can't be quantified. I'd like to think his impact was special to...

Mr Dong taught four of our five children American History. His commitment to this country and his passion for teaching have effected their lives. Rather than spending their time griping about the past they love their country and try to build their communities. Mr Dong also coached our sons in tennis and helped several of our children with their Key club projects. He will be missed, but his legacy, his students, will live on.

I first met Jeff in the early 1970's while conducting training for Pasco's teachers. I immediately recognized his passion for teaching and committment to his students. As superintendent of the Pasco School District I enjoyed his friendship and counsel. His passing is a true community loss.

Mr. Dong was "1 of a Kind" History teacher at PHS.
He will be truly missed by the entire Pasco School District, PHS Staff and STUDENTS.
Love from all of the UPTON FAMILY. Rest Peacefully Mr. Dong!
