JEFFREY “JEFF” DAMON McGRATH, age 51, lifelong resident of Las Cruces passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was born March 7, 1970 to Robert and Anna Apodaca McGrath. “Jeff” as he was fondly known to all was kind, generous and extremely loyal to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.
Those left to mourn his passing include his loving parents, Robert and Anna McGrath of Las Cruces; aunts, Connie Morales and Rosemary Apodaca; uncle Victor Apodaca and wife, Linda; numerous cousins and lifelong friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his only sister, Elizabeth Ann Duran; maternal grandparents, Frank and Esperanza Apodaca; two uncles Alphonso Apodaca and Charlie Morales; and a cousin, Alex Morales.
At his request cremation has taken place and a Graveside Service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, February 24, 2022 at St. Joseph Cemetery, 100 N. Espina Street, Las Cruces, NM.

Read MoreI did a search to find Gruffs Facebook to see what he was up to and to ask if he wanted to hang out while I was in cruces and his obituary popped up. He was a really cool guy. He is missed for sure.

Aunt Anna & Uncle Bob I am sending you all my love and prayers. The only consolation is that our Lord Jesus has his children in is loving presence. We will someday see them again when Jesus receives us in his presence as well. I wish you blessings and prayers to live each day here with peace and joy until we are all reunited in heaven with all our loved ones!!!

Jeff you were an extremely giving person with the biggest heart!! I miss you dearly and always will you helped me in so many times that I needed a place to stay for a couple days well you helped out many woman that all should be grateful for that.. you would never turn me away!!
