            Jeffrey A. Swartz, 46, of Milford Township, PA, departed this world on January 17, 2016.



 



            He was the husband of Crystal L. (Troxell) Swartz. The couple had celebrated their 11th Wedding Anniversary on April 24, 2015.



 



            Born in Quakertown, PA, and raised in Haycock Township, PA, he was the son of Jon A. and Mary Ann (Knapp) Swartz, of Haycock Twp.



 



            Jeffrey graduated from Quakertown High School in 1988 and the Montgomery County Community College-PA Municipal Police Academy. He obtained numerous law enforcement training certifications.



 



            Jeffrey was employed by various municipalities over his career including the Lower Saucon Township Police Department. He also held positions with the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the PA Department of Transportation, and the PA Department of Public Welfare. He was currently a Park Ranger with the County of Bucks.



 



            Jeffrey was fond of tractors and heavy machinery and operated his own hauling business for many years.



 



            He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Spinnerstown.



 



            He loved farming, raising livestock and raising his pets, many of which were either strays or rescues from the Bucks County SPCA. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family and walking his dogs.



 



            Jeffrey loved his family, and he would offer a hand to anyone in need.



 



            In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters Abigail A. and Gabriella E. Swartz, both at home; a sister, Jennifer A. Ottinger and her husband James, of Fernandina Beach, FL; and a brother, Jon A. Swartz of Breinigsville, PA.



 



            Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.



  


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Swartz Children Educational Fund, Crystal Swartz Trustee, 2000 Brinkman Road, Quakertown, PA  18951.

I still look for you and miss you R I P Jeff you were like a son instead of a son in law

I just recently learned of Jeff's passing. I was his 5th grade teacher at Haycock Elementary. I will never forget him. He was a great kid, a great smile and a kind soul. He came to visit me years later when i was teaching at Strayer Middle School. I am so very sad for your loss....I will miss him.

Crystal Jeff was the best son in law anyone could have when you got married I took him more as a son I will always miss him and keep him in my heart I love you and girls so much and will do any thing for you. god bless you and keep you safe

I went to school with Jeff in Haycock Elementary.

Just heard of Jeff's passing today and deeply saddened by the news. Went to high school with Jeff and occasionally ran into him at the local Wawa and chatted while we tapped our coffees. So sorry.

Jeff was a very special boy , I watched him grow in grade school. He was always polite and helpful. I'm sure he grew into a fine man. Please accept our deepest sympathy. God bless you and your family with strength.
