In the summer of 1970, 17-year-old Jeffrey J. Asperger could not wait to get out of Youngstown, Ohio. It was a time of peace protests, long hair, muscle cars, drugs, and rock and roll, and Jeff embraced it all when he headed off to Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.Less than two years later he...

Not sure what to say?

We still miss you Jeff and your magic tricks as well!

I was so sorry to hear of Jeffs passing. We dated briefly in 2000, including a friendly trip to Bermuda, and Florida with friends where we shared many laughs . We kept in touch for a brief time. Jeff was so nice, had great taste in wine, and was great on the dance floor. Gone far too soon. Im so sorry for your loss, may his memory be a blessing to you.

We just learned of Jeff's passing - the four of us (Kevin Hendrick, Stuart Schwartz, Scott Garbo and Rod Torbic) worked with Jeff as co-counsel on a case that wrapped up only about 2 years ago. Jeff was a pleasure to work with and a gentleman - always the first with an encouraging word or a congratulations for his colleagues. We are sorry to learn of his passing and want to extend our condolences to Jeff's family - Kevin, Stu, Scott, Rod

Jeff was one of a kind. I very much enjoyed my brief time working as his secretary at Clausen Miller, and even years later after I left the firm, I would run into him from time to time around our shared near north neighborhood. He always had a big smile and a friendly greeting for me. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing, and extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and close friends.

Wonderful man. Always positive. Amazing outlook on life. Incredibly intelligent and had a tremendous work ethic!

With fond memories of our friendship and working together, Jeff, you will be missed. As I took on a new assignment in recent weeks involving a building across the street from our temporary quarters in Davenport during the John Deere trial, I was reminded of your dedication to the law and moving the needle towards safer products and structures. I wish I could have sailed with you.

One of a kind Renaissance man

Goodbye Jeff. I have lots of great memories both insurance work related and our golf outings in LV and the Midwest. On our trips, Jeff enjoyed the finest food, renting Harleys, and bringing exploding golf balls.

Jeff was a neighbor and friend for over 20 years. He was a great guy and I am fortunate to have him touch my life. I always felt that I would like to feel as good as Jeff looked. We laughed about this often as he was quite a "fashion plate" and me...well not so much. He will be missed.
