Not sure what to say?

Dee and Bill,
Jim and I just learned today....after these many years...of the death of your son Jeffrey. We cannot even imagine the grief that you have been through to have lost a child...and one so bright and promising as Jeff was. Our own son, Neil, just turned 30 years old. Jenny is already 32 years old. All any parent can do is put their faith in God. We will keep you both in our prayers. Please accept this belated expression of sympathy.

Dear Dee and Bill,
Someone sent me the book, "The Next Place". I found reading it very comforting. Here is a line from it, and I thought that I would share it with you. I hope it comforts you, also. Love, Joannie and Jim

"The next place that I go
will be as peaceful and
familiar as a sleepy summer
Sunday and a sweet, untroubled
mind."

Dear Beacham family and friends,

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I’ve never had the pleasure of ever meeting Jeff. Jeff and I were pen pals. Through his writing I got to learn a genuinely caring, funny, and honest friend. I will miss him.

Dee, Bill, & Jon,
Jeff & the Beacham family were part of our extended family during our Boulevard Elememtary & Forest Hills Pool days in Cleveland. We puzzled over why Jeff preferred reading non-fiction instead of picture books at such an early age. We laughed about all his souvenir money spent on candy in France. Trick-or-treating, Boulevard musicals, Wed. potluck, summer swim meets - it was all 'as good as it gets'. Jeff is very much a positive, energetic part of all those memories...

I remember a lot of things about Jeff; he was one of the first swimmers I looked up to back on USC, then LESD and at Hawken. As Dale wrote, there was his breastroke, with his head and body off to the side a little. We all tried his breastroke at least a little bit. There was also his goodness; he cared about all of it - the swimming, the people, the team. I think back fondly on him and the memories I have with him. I will miss meeting Jeff again.
Jon, Mrs. Beacham, Dr. Beacham, peace...

I am sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. I will remember with fondness being his swim teammate, occasional tennis partner, and co-harrasser of little brothers... and of course his friend. My deepest condolences to Dr. Beacham, Dee and Jon.
Sincerely, Willson

It was my privilege to be Jeff’s teammate in high school, and his opponent in a couple of swim races in college. He will always live in my memory. My sincere condolences to the Beacham family and friends.

To the Beacham family,

Much love and condolences to you all. All the guards from Denison Pool remember Jeff fondly and are deeply saddened by his passing.
