Angela, Roddy and I were more like brothers than friend. My brothers i think felt the same way. I know my mom and dad loved Roddy as if he was one of there own. Roddy would show up out of the blue and hang with us. We both pulled a few things together like going to the beach, Country Club, South Carolina to Hilton Head, Bluffton and many others places with the group of friends we ran with. I was a year or two behind Roddy at Blue Ridge. The guy had more class than almost anyone I've ever meet since 1960. So sorry to hear he is gone too early.
