I am writing today to honor my friend, known to myself and many others as "Uncle Jeff." I was hit with a deep sense of sadness when I found out that Jeff had died. For one, I knew that I would never be able to have another conversation with Jeff, and as was stated and is certainly true, Jeff had a "way with words" both written and oral ( verbally if you caught him at the right time:). Dear Nancy, I am so sorry to read of Jeffrey's death. It seems like yesterday you kids were coming to the Roanoke Public Library with your Mother to check out records and paintings from the Fine Arts Department.
