Is Jeff's older brother still alive?

Dear Sarah and family. I was so sorry to read of your Dad's tragic accident. I didn't know him well but I remember clearly ,you, and how vivacious and life loving you are. He was the same and I am so sorry for your loss. My sympathy to all of you.

I knew Jeff from Ano Nuevo where we were both docents. I got to know him when we both served on a committee writing an Elephant Seal manual for lay people (docents) based on scientific research papers. I remember Jeff was very skilled at converting a dense scientific paper into a more understandable form for those of us who didn't have a science background. I greatly appreciated my friendship with Jeff. We kept each other company many times at Strawberry when we were both there solo. Such an incredibly decent, kind, funny human being; his passing leaves an awfully big hole.

I knew Jeff from Ano Nuevo. He was such a nice guy, fun to talk to, and I enjoyed the times I was fortunate to share with him. So sorry for your loss. Jeff was a very cool dude!
