Not sure what to say?

Dear Jeff, it's so hard to imagine the school without you. Such a special person. The endless giving, always with a big smile on your face. We, the members of the kollel, always knew that you were there for us. All the Kollel activities, especially on Yom Haatzmaut couldn't have been done without you. Thank you for all you have done for us and we will never forget you. Yehuda and Shoshi Lapian Bachurim and Bnot Sherut 2006-2010

It was always a good day when one of my teachers sent me to Mr. Binder's office to get something, but it was a GREAT day when I was sent to Mr. Binder's office and he would let me crank the mimeograph machine. He always greeted me warmly as a kid, and many years later as a parent. He always had a smile and a kind greeting when I saw him at school, and when I stopped in his office needing something he always made me feel like he had nothing else to do. Jeff was a fine example of how to treat...

Shalom, shalom shalom. Hello, goodbye Peace.
My beloved brother Jeffrey's Hebrew name is Shalom.
Shalom, Jeffrey was a most peaceful man. How else could he have survived our family and 27 years with the Rabbis at the Hebrew Academy.
He brought peace everywhere.
I always told him of all the people I have met during my life, that he impressed me the most, literally reinventing himself.
Today as we recite the Kadish, let us remember that it closes with osay shalom beemrovam,...

My first memory of Jeff was the day that I came to be interviewed for the PT front office position. I went into his office and he immediately stood up, walked over to shake my hand and said, "Welcome to the Berman Academy." I felt at ease right away. Jeff asked me one question, "Tell me about yourself." We spoke for 15mins and he then took me to the office and introduced me to Betty Goldberger. After about 30mins with her, being shown around and discussing the duties, Betty asked me, "Are you...

As a parent, teacher or volunteer, I could always count on Jeff Binder. If I needed photocopying, coffee, chocolates, or help with setting up the board room for a hat sale, Mr. Binder was there with a smile and an air of professionalism. I feel at a loss without him there, sitting in his office, strolling down the hall, always cheerful and positive. What a role model he was for all of us.

Jeff was my "go to guy". As my role in Staff Appreciation for PTO, I always needed copies made of something; notes, end of year messages to staff, brain teasers, and he always got the job done; then and there. Jeff re-formatted the fonts, cut the papers to size, wrapped them up and always had them ready for me before I expected. He was ALWAYS available, despite how busy he was. He helped me for the past many years, and I am truly grateful. He was also very helpful with the concerts we ran at...

What shocking and sad news to lose such a nice and kindhearted man! Its so hard to believe that Jeff will not be at MJBHA greeting everyone, helping everyone, and offering his smile. He was a true mensch that will be sorely missed by all.

My condolences to the Binder family. Jeff was a kind and gentle man who will be missed by all.
