Having worked in the Prothonotary's Office back in the late 70's and early 80's I always remember Atty. Bortner carrying around a photo of his "Pride and Joy". He always made us smile!

Gene:
Jeff and I were friends ever since we were in Elmwood School together. I will
always remember him as my best chilhood frient. Please stay in touch.

Jeff was my Dad's attorney for as long as I can remember. When he died in 1995, Jeff, as executor of his will, made a difficult process a lot easier with his wit, humor and warm concern for our family problems. I'll remember him as light-hearted and fun to talk to.

Gene and Family, Sandy and I were saddened to hear of Jeff's passing but know that Hal and Evie are waiting to celebrate with us someday also. Peace be with you and with us all. Amen
