Not sure what to say?

My late-Wife Gail and I met Jeff shortly after attending Hillcrest Covenant Church in December 1992 while participating in a Christmas program for the church. It would be the start of a wonderfully long friendship, in fellowship not only in our mutual bond in Christ, but also in the puns, jokes, and humor Gail and he would share. Then there was the puppetry ministry for Children's program at church. I recall Gail's profound sadness, yet joy when learning of Jeffrey's homecoming. How little...

I met Jeff back in the late 1970's when he rented an apartment above a business I worked at named County Fair Ice Cream Parlor in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. He quickly became friends with most all of us who worked there due to his kind, gentle spirit and great sense of humor. After the parlor closed, Jeff moved to Kansas City but we kept in touch until the early 1990's by mail and a few times we'd get together with him when he came into town to visit his parents. I'm so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. He would make up me smile with cute sayings. He was always thoughful and kind always a nice word. Rest in peace Jeff.

Jeff was a big part of my family growing up, and though he may not be with us anymore, the lessons in love and family he taught us all will be his lasting legacy. I'm sorry I won't be able to make it to his funeral, but I send my love.

We will miss a dear brother who we shared many years of ministry with. Jeff was always faithful and so committed to us in ministry. We thank God for his life and know he is with his savior. Jeff was one in a million. Steve and Patti Gabrielse

Bert and I remember Jeff well from choir and drama at Hillcrest, such a friendly and personable man. So sorry to hear of his passing.

We were so blessed to know Jeff. All our years in choir together with Jeff were very special. He always had a smile to share with those around him. I know he will be missed by many.

I am so surprised to read of Jeff's passing. I always enjoyed talking with him. I first met him in the Hillcrest Covenant Choir and it was fun to be in musical dramas with Jeff. He always flashed a bright smile and friendly demeanor . Jeff will be missed by all those who knew him, I am sure. Rest in peace and greet Ron for me, Jeff. Love ....

We have missed you lately in life, now we must miss you forever. Will think of you on Chief's game days and remember the fun we had with the puppets on Carraway Street. Peace and rest.
