Joe and I were friends with Jeff in medical school. He was a kind, gentle, and warm man with a terrific sense of humor and we were sorry to have lost touch with him. I came across his obituary today, and am so sorry for his loss. I am glad to see that he was graced with loving children and a meaningful career, and hope that his memory will be a blessing.

I met Jeff at the USPHS in Baltimore, where I was training in medical technology. We shared time together and when I finished and returned to Arkansas, we stayed in touch for a while. My deepest condolences to you and your family on his passing.
