Sgt. Jeffrey C. Walker was a fitness and car buff who traveled the world during 14 years in the military. Walker and his brother, Johnny Walker, were born in Seoul, South Korea, to a Korean mother and an American father. During their father''s military career, they lived in California, Texas and Panama. But Walker always considered Maryland home. After graduating from high school in Havre de Grace, Md., Walker joined the Army. He trained as a welder, completed airborne school and served in Korea, Germany, the Balkans and the United States. "He''d decided to make a career of the military," Johnny Walker said. "He loved serving his country." Walker, 33, was one of nine soldiers killed Jan. 8 when a Black Hawk helicopter on a routine medical flight to Baghdad was shot down. He was stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.

ALLTHEWAY! Rest Well, prayers for your family ,You're Not Forgotten

My condolences for such a big loss. But it was our father Gods gain. I miss you brother. You were my first best friend when I first got to the 82nd. Ill never forget how cool you were and that white Acura oh God.. lol To his family Im sorry. I served with him and I was in Iraq when that happened.

It was a privilege and honor to serve with you brother. Although we only knew one another for a short period of time you left a lasting impression. I know it's been many years, but I still think about you. Today I honor your life and what you did for the U.S. God Bless your loved ones.

Jeff,
It breaks my heart to know that you are gone! You were a great friend and comrade that I had a short time at ft.lewis with. You once told me that I was your best friend. That will never change! I can't believe that I just found out about your death after all these years! You will be missed.

I remember talking with him all night before his medivac flight. He talked with me and my warrant in the 2/4/7 warehouse for at least 5 hours that night. I was one of the few overnight workers. He was a great man, who also was known for his great calf muscles. I will never forget the day that his medivac flight crashed. I will never forget the ceremony that was held at TQ in Iraq to honor the loss of one of our own.

To the family and friends of Sgt. Jeffrey C. Walker:
It has truly been my honor to sign Jeffrey's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Jeffrey will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy
