Jeffrey has gifted me in a way that, sadly, I never got a chance to share with him. Yet.... Along with Susan Hart, he was responsible for giving me a modicum of confidence to portray a Shakespearean character I´d never have otherwise risked, and years later, in his final act as a mentor of the classics (Arthur Miller), he inadvertently, connected me with a most cherished writing partner and Friend. My heart goes out to Jeffrey's family. All his friends will miss him greatly as well. The photo I shared is from 1996 during our time working on the play, JEFFREY.

We had a good time, didn't we, dear friend? We were connected. How I will miss you. Rest in peace. Heartfelt sympathies to your beloved family that must again bear the unbearable.

Jeff was always ready with a smile, a silly joke, or a shoulder when friends needed him. He was a brilliant flame in the world, and that light will shine on with his memory. He was a good man, an incredibly great actor, and the world will miss him terribly. Goodbye, old friend.
