Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Jeff's passing a higher calling and am shocked and saddened by the news. Have known Jeff since 1974 upon joining Ann Arbor Trust Co. as it amended its charter to become a full service bank and trust company. We shared a love of Ann Arbor and sports. His golf game was excellent but his fishing was for story telling (as Carol knows). Stacey, your Dad's obituary is a classic. Thank you for it. Michael (Mike) Nold

So sorry to hear of the passing of a classmate. We lost contact with each other after graduation. Jeff was one popular guy thru our school years. My thoughts and prayers to the family

Jeff was a mentor, leader and friend to many bankers for many years. He took time to care about my brother and me both our careers and our families. Jeff shared wisdom on many subjects that I absorbed, unfortunately none of his golf knowledge took hold!

My buddy JC, the big brother I always wanted. He was intelligent and funny, a combo not many can achieve. We had many great times together doing anything that `seemed´ like a good idea at the time. You could ask him anything and he´d always take time to think about an intelligent response, he always cared. You´ll always be missed big brother, everyone loved you.

So sorry for your loss - I was a classmate at DHS. What a beautiful tribute to Jeff. He most certainly accomplished a lot in his lifetime and most of all sounds like he was a man who loved his family very much. His fond memories will help provide some comfort to you all. Margie (Burrell) VanLooy.

Jeff was a wonderful friend for well over 50 years. I have very fond memories or vacationing up north with Jeff and Carol, helping him assemble a crib for Stacey before she was born and many more. Jeff had a great sense of humor and was also an excellent storyteller. I can recall several occasions where my side ached from laughter. There is definitely a void in my world. I loved the guy! RIP buddy!

When Jeff was at Travis Pointe we always, always played at 8:40 on Saturdays and Sundays. Many years after Jeff left Travis I saw Carol and Jeff at Knights so John Spittler and I went over to say Hi. We talked for awhile and Jeff asked me what time we were playing on Saturday and I said well 8:40 like always. I will always remember the many rounds of golf we played together!! Tom Wicks
