Not sure what to say?

I last saw Jeff in Portland, OR in maybe 2001 when he was passing through for a Brewers convention. We met at Redbones in Davis Sq. Somerville. I have often thought about him and wondered what he was up to...I am truly sad to find this article while searching his name on the internet...My condolences to his family and friends...he was a great man!!!!

Jeff was a teacher who led others through his gentle humor, his unique vision and caring soul. During his years at the Program in Artisanry at BU, he turned urban landscapes into metal expressions of his imagination. A vessel he gave me from that time will always remind me of his genius. That he is gone from this earth only deepens the impression his spirit left on us all.

Jeffrey,
While I had known you for years, it was not until you spent the week at the beach with Mary and myself, that I was able to really get to know you. I will always remember and treasure that time. We will miss you.

To Richard and Family: My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Remember that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.

Our sincere sympathies for your loss.

My thoughts are with Jeffrey's family as I was sorry to just learn of this news. I knew him for many years in the brewing industry, and we shared many a fun and interesting time together in the past. He had a vibrant and special spirit.

Jeff and Ian March 2001

Jeffrey my friend I miss you. Your loyalty, selflessness, compassion, sense of humor, humility, deep intellect and vast range of artistic talent and technical skills are unmatched; Master Brewer, Lobster Fisherman, Actor, Set Designer and Stage Craftsman, Alchemist and casual Botanist - and only help define you in part. Whatever you put your hands, mind and spirit to became success. Thank you for guiding me and being a part of our family for almost 30 years. Our lives are richer in meaning...

Virginia, May God continue to guide you and the rest of the family.
