Dear Kathy, I did not know Jeff personally, but feel I knew him through you. He sounded like a special human being who cared deeply for you and trusted you. You saw the good in him and loved him profoundly for it. What a gift you gave him the last years of his life. May the Universe abundantly give back to you what you so generously gave to Jeff...limitless unconditional love. Your friend, Joanne

I write in the hope that I am addressing the family of the Jeffrey Claridge I knew long ago. I grew up on Montgomery Drive in Portland. The Jeffrey Claridge I knew was a 'big kid' who lived down by Roswell and Montgomery. We didn't see him often but he would sometimes be coming out to get in his car or walk to the store. He was always very friendly to those of us who were much younger on the street. We looked up to him and admired him for his genuine warmth to us. I remember him...
