Mr. Jeffrey I. Cole, 63, husband of Melissa Clark Cole, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Jeff was born in Montgomery, AL, the son of Malcolm and June Nicholl Cole. He worked as a United Airlines ramp agent in Houston. Those that knew Jeff can well attest to his sharp wit, the way he used humor in every situation, and the boundless love he had for those he loved. To his family, Jeff was known as Pappy, the name he chose when he first became a grandfather to Xavier, the name that his granddaughter Eleanor would shriek with joy when she saw him, and the name that inspired the biggest of grins from his youngest granddaughter Hagen. In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of life will take place in Cleveland, OH and Houston, TX at future dates. For those wishing to honor Jeff, donations in his name can be made to the Cleveland MetroParks Legacy Fund at https://www.clevelandmetroparks.com/parks/get-involved/donate/donate-conservation/legacy-fund. Not sure what to say?

We don't believe we have met Jeff, but know his parents June and Malcolm through the beauty of horses and by that we know he was a good man. We will always be great friends with June and Malcolm and will pray for their peace and goodness to get them through this rough time, although not sure you ever get through grief all together. Love and hugs from Pam and Larry Warford, Copley, OH

Jeff was a fine man A great coworker and a blessed friend . I am sorry for the family loss and for the loss of all who knew him . A great ride till we meet again .

I do not know where to begin. That you were so loved by so many is certainly a comfort to me. That you were a wonderful son, father, Pappy, and to me a brother. That you always could make me smile and laugh no matter what. That your sense of humor and boundless joy in life were contagious! That I always felt I could talk to you and you would do your best to help, even if it was sarcastic humor, or you telling me to lighten up. Daniel and Michelle always loved your sense of humor and the way...

I will always remember Jeff for his brazen honesty and sense of humor. Jeff was a great coworker and friend.

Rest In Peace Jeff. You were a friend for a short time but I always appreciated your positivity and your awesome chats before and after your Tribe workouts. Honored to know you and call you friend. Your Tribe is praying for you and your family.

I am so saddened by Jeff's sudden passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences. He was a great man who always had a hug to give when I would see him on the ramp. He was looking forward to retirement and spending more time with his family. Rest In Peace Jeff....you will be missed.
