Jeffrey Ryan Conlin passed away on May 19, 2015 at the age of 33. He was born in Houston to a family who adored him. From the time Jeff was a toddler he loved animals and vehicles. Jeff also loved people, and people were always drawn to him. He was a generous soul, always helping and never expecting anything in return. He would offer up whatever he had to bring others joy. For Jeff, the best times were fast, loud, and sometimes dangerous. For the rest of us, the best times were when he recounted the stories; they were vivid, captivating, and often hilarious. Jeff was a great storyteller. We always said, "You have to hear Jeff tell the story." Jeff was also a brilliant artist and craftsman in his trade. His work was meticulous and innovative. Jeff embodied the entrepreneurial spirit, starting an automotive performance and restoration business. He amazed us all with his talents. Throughout Jeff's life he endured many trials, accidents, and injuries, often while doing the things he loved. He survived them all, sometimes miraculously. However, an unfortunate brain injury left him in constant physical pain and mental trauma. The weight of his troubles was nearly unbearable for him. Jeff had grown weary, and his heart, mind, and body were burdened as of late. He yearned for peace and freedom. Though our hearts are grieving now we are still overcome with joy as we remember the incredible, hilarious, and amazing things he did. We are overwhelmed with love as we remember the noble, loyal, and good things he did for people. Jeff is survived by his mother Sally, his father Richard, his older brother Kevin, his two sisters Kristina and Jenna, and his loving friends who are too numerous to list but not forgotten. Jeff is now reunited with his beloved grandma Jane and his grandfather Ferd whom he adored.
