Jeffrey Corey, 32, died unexpectedly on August 17, 2018 in Pensacola, FL.
Jeff was born August 10, 1986 to his proud and devoted parents, Shannon and Annette Corey. Jeff was a lifelong resident of Pensacola and a graduate of Washington High School. As a creative and dedicated food-lover, Jeff shared his gifts with Pensacola by preparing delicious meals in a variety of local restaurants. He was a talented athlete and eagerly participated in organized and recreational sports for his entire life. His physical presence, both strong and tall, was nothing compared to the kindness and friendship that he gave to everyone that he encountered. Jeff never met a stranger. He adored children, animals, and all adored him in return. Above all, Jeffrey loved his family. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and cousin.
Jeff is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alexander Corey and Jack Pittman, Sr. and his grandmothers, Joyce Corey and Dorothy “Dot” Pittman.
He is survived by his parents, Shannon and Annette Corey; sister, Ally Corey Wade (David); nieces, Raya and Lindy; nephew, Samuel; aunts and uncles, Sheila (Dennis), Pamela, Mike, Elizabeth, Jay, Jennifer (Dwain), Michelle, Paul, and Adam (Brandy); cousins, Jackie (Anthony), Vernon (Amanda), Gabrielle, Stacey, Sarah, Kirsten, Natasha, Danielle, Dana (Don), Nathaniel (Shelley), Dustin, Lauren, Marissa, Luke, Mea, and Tyler; step-grandmothers, Kaye Pittman and Linda Corey; honorary uncle, Chet Kaufman; as well as many great friends.
Visitation will be held 2:00pm until the Memorial Service at 3:00pm Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, officiated by his uncle, Dennis Holley.

When I met Jeff in middle school, he was probably one of the funniest guys I had ever met. He loved to make people laugh and had a great attitude about everything. My heart goes out to his close family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I met Jeff when Ally became part of our family. He was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. You could see the love in his eyes when he looked at those precious babies. They will miss him dearly. Praying for comfort and peace..

Jeff was the sweetest guy! I had the pleasure of meeting him years ago. He stopped by just to say hi many months ago and it was so good to see him. My heart is just broken. Rest in peace Jeff....I will never forget you. Prayers for his family.
