JEFFREY A. "BONZ" DYKES, 51, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at his home in New Haven. Born in Fort Wayne, Jeffrey worked as a mechanic for many years. He loved his dog, Clarabell, riding his Harley, enjoyed repairing things, crossword puzzles and loved a good party. Surviving are his mother, S. Elaine (Steve) Stellhorn-Kline of New Haven; former spouse, Sue Dykes of New Haven; sons, Scott Dykes, James (Tisha) Dykes, and Christopher Dykes, all of New Haven; daughters, Kayla (Dave) Hayden of Woodburn, and Kelly (Brody) Dykes of New Haven; seven grandchildren; sisters, Jami (Jack) Girardot of New Haven, Corissa (Denny) Schuman of Columbia City, Misty (Mike) Deck of Columbus, Ohio and Jodi Espy of New Haven; brothers, John Dykes, Brian (Tammy) Dykes and Tony Dykes all of Fort Wayne; stepsisters, Marsha (Jerry) MacDonald of Fort Wayne, Joni (Lloyd) Tisher of Huntertown, Kim (Bill) Haley of New Haven, Laurie (Don) Nuttle, Susan (Mike) McMeen, Karen Stellhorn all of Fort Wayne; stepbrother, Tim Stellhorn of Indianapolis; grandmother, Marcie Dykes of Fort Wayne; grandfather, Donal Mowery of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Dykes; father, W. Johnnie Dykes; stepbrother, Eric Stellhorn; grandmother, Marie Mowery; grandmother, La Verna Boroff; grandfather, Chester Dykes; step father, Wayne "Pinky" Stellhorn. Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling from noon to 2 p.m. Calling also from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial in I.O.O.F.
