Jeffrey D. Felker, 57, of Bangor, PA, passed away Thursday, March 27th, at Slate Belt Health and Rehab Center, Bangor, PA.

Jeffrey was born in Plant City, FL, on August 25, 1967, a beloved son of Charles Felker of Easton, PA, and the late Lois (Walden) Felker.

He was a graduate of Mon Valley School of Jefferson Hills and called Pittsburgh home for twenty years. The remainder of his life he lived in Mt. Bethel, PA. Jeffrey was employed as a custodian at First United Methodist Church in Bangor, PA, and at the Pocono Family YMCA in Stroudsburg, PA. He also spent several years working at the Burnley Workshop in Snydersville, PA.

Jeffrey was active in the Monroe County Special Olympics, leaving behind a bag full of medals and tons of memories.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bangor, PA.

In addition to his father Charles, Jeffrey is survived by two sisters, Jill, wife of Eddie, and Amy, wife of Jeff, two brothers, Craig, husband of Mary, and Kelly, husband of Lisa, an Uncle David Felker, husband of Ruthann, an Aunt Charlotte, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 2nd at the First United Methodist Church, 55 N. Third Street, Bangor, PA. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, April 2nd, at the church. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Lillian Lane "Village of Johnsonville" Bangor, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pocono Family YMCA, 809 Main St., Stroudsburg, PA 18360, or First United Methodist Church, 55 N. 3rd St., Bangor, PA 18013.

I am so sorry to hear of Jeffrey's passing. I used to greet Jeffrey every time I would visit my Mom while she was at Slate Belt. He always gave me a hug and made my day whenever I would see him. Such a sweet, sweet man. Rest in peace, Jeffrey.

We have known Jeff for many years , but most intensively for the last twenty years. Jeff was a wonderful person, who was always friendly and extroverted in his life. He and his family were closely knit and supportive. May he rest in peace!

I don´t know u or ur son but I just cannot imagine losing ur son. My son is 31 and has Down syndrome. I´m so incredibly sorry for ur loss.
