Jeffrey B. Foote

Hudson, FL - Jeffrey B. Foote passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the age of 74.

Jeffrey was a long-time resident of Bow, NH. He was the son of Morris C. Foote and Louise I. Foote.

Jeffrey is survived by his three children, Victoria Foote Cheney and her husband Jonathan Cheney; Meredith Foote, her partner Daniel Lepage and granddaughter Adelaide Lepage; Benjamin Foote, his partner Courtenay Phillips and her children Graham and Owen; his longtime girlfriend Vicki Cantera; his dog Lily; and many close friends and neighbors from New Hampshire and Hudson, Florida.

Jeffrey loved spending time at his camp on Lake Winnipesaukee, always closely followed by his loyal dog, Lily. Jeffrey was a DeMolay while in high school and later a Mason. He received an associate's degree in broadcasting from the Wentworth institute in Boston and later owned Foote's re-Tire-ment Center in Concord. Jeffrey was deeply involved with the Bow Rotary, was a Bow Selectman, and was on the Board of Directors at Bow Mills Bank, and the Harilla Yacht Club. During the Vietnam War, he served in the United States Navy as a submariner. He often spoke about his time on the USS Kamehameha. Jeffrey loved tinkering with his many projects, be it working on his boat, a car, or building things, he was constantly keeping busy. Jeffrey loved entertaining his friends and family. He was a collector of boats and if anyone ever needed to borrow anything, Jeffrey probably had three. He highly valued his work, honesty, and was a tried and true friend to many.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 16th from 2-4 PM at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord, NH.

A memorial service will follow at 4 PM in the Chapel of the Waters Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Odell will officiate.

Burial with Military honors will be in the Evans Cemetery in Spring.

Hey Foote Clan, Frank and I are thinking of you all and praying that each year that has passed has helped you all to fill your hearts with happy memories that you all made with your Dad as a family. Love you all, Frank and Charlyn

I was friends with Jeff in college when he attended Cambridge School in Boston (1966-67). Just learned of his passing when doing an online search. My condolences to his family. RIP Jeff. Hank Nevins (Buffalo) [email protected]

Hi Vick, Ben and Meredith, Thinking of the 3 of you and hoping that the year has helped to replace the loss you feel for your Dad with some special memories that you all made. Frank and I send you and yours our love and God's blessings, your family has always meant so much to us. Love, "Uncle" Frank and "Aunt" Charlyn

Deepest condolences from David Van Dyne formerly Bow, NH and now Rockport TX. All the family were close friends with David and he truly expresses his sympathy to all.

Sincere condolences not only to the Foote family but also to all of Jeff´s friends, not only in New Hampshire but also in Florida. As a member of the Foote family, I spent many early holidays and reunions with Jeff in Bow. As a CHS `66 classmate, our monthly reunion dinners made it possible to catch up with each other, when not in Florida. Too many of us lose touch with our friends and relatives as we move away. Jeff will be missed but remembered despite moving to Florida or living on an...

Sincerest condolences to the Foote family. I too was a CHS '66 classmate of Jeff's. I and others from the '66 class got to see him every month at our monthly dinner meetings in Concord until health issues kept him from attending. We all will miss his humor and his story telling which was second to none! R.I.P. Jeff...

Deepest sympathies to your family. Was blessed to know you and go on so many adventures as a CHS class of 1966 friend. Fun Memories. Will always see your wonderful smile. I remember Jeff getting the 58 Chevrolet, an automatic! His dad told him not to hack it up! Couple of days later we were in his garage on Logging Hill Rd, you guessed it, hacking up the console to put in a stick shift! So many memories, just the best a person could be.
