Not sure what to say?

Jeff left a mark on me for sure. I think about him when I see someone that looks like him. I think about him when I accidentally throw grass into Ruth's garden. I think about him when I think of the good he did with some really good young men I know. Thank you God for Jeff and the lives he impacted and is still impacting.

Four years have passed and I still think of Jeff occasionally. I reminisce of his ever-present smile, his love for Christ and his wish for everyone to come to the knowledge of the love our Savior has for us. It is with joy, sadness and hope that I think of him and imagine him laughing, singing, dancing and praising with Jesus. Heaven is surely more lively with Jeff as a resident. Until we meet again...

We feel privileged to have know Jeff for the very short time that we did. We enjoyed his biblical insight, enthusiasm, obvious love for the Lord and winning souls for Christ. He was such a delightful, happy, Godly man and will be sorely missed at Carlisle First and by all of us involved with EDGE. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ruth and the Ford family.

So. I really liked my buddy Jeff. But it wasn't till after his passing that I found out why he was kind and nice and many other great things. It's because of his family. His mom and dad are great. I loved the time O got to spend with them. His brothers that I got to spend time with were thoughtful and caring and just great guys. There's the whole apple and the tree analogy going on here. Two seriously good trees made some great apples. May God bless each of you as you heal.

Well, well 2F - we certainly were a David and Jonathan pair. Boy, do I miss you. I've had to chuckle as I've been reading some of these posts - you've sure been pegged! You're well-known for your smile, fun-loving nature, singing, long (long, long, long) talks, and Godly character. I'll add the funny socks you'd wear concealed during formal occasions! The Lord used you to touch so many people. From you I learned the importance of working hard when I wanted to quit; the value in being...

Where do I begin. for some reason my 1st post never showed up. Jeff, thanks for being an amazing Godly big "brother" there have been so many amazing memories floating back at me this wk. I thank God for leading me to Faith Baptist all those years ago. The talks, adventures, fellowship, etc. Names keep popping into my mind: James, Ronda, jef, Karen, Chuck Jr. Jeff, I know over the yrs. I remember always your joyous and happy personality, singing, snapping tunes wherever you went thinking...

Jeff, thanks for being a Godly friend and "brother" over the years. I thanks you for being that person who in loving way gave help, love, and advice. I will not forget, those long talks, singing, etc after Sunday church with Ronda, James, and Jef. I thank God each day for putting you, Peggy, and Faith Baptist in my life at a time where he knew we needed each other. I know from all our talks you are up dancing in heaven. Peggy and John and family you are in my hearts and prayers

I only knew Jeff for a short while as he attended Carlisle First Church of God. Having met him the first time, I sensed something different about him. As time went by and I got to know him better I realized the difference was his love for and enthusiasm toward our savior Jesus Christ. Jeff wanted everyone to know, love and appreciate Jesus as he did and did not hesitate to share this with those he met and knew. Always a smile on his face, a friendly greeting and a kind word is HOW I will...

Jeff was a wonderful youth leader at Carlisle First Church Of God! He loved the EDGE Crew and the Revolution team. Jeff created a big impact on my life, and he is a friend that I will never forget. He was a man who would talk to anyone, if you talked to him you would talk for three hours instead of twenty minutes. All I can say to his parents his thank you for raising Jeff the way you did he was a wonderful man and never stopped smiling! He will be missed very much!
