My prayers go out to all the Griffey family. I did not know Jeff personally but I worked with his Mum and I know how much Jeff and his family was on her mind and how much she loved each of them. Jeff and I were Soldiers on Rear Detachment together in Italy in 2005 when our units deployed to Afghan. We always had some crazy shenanigan detail to accomplish and it was always a little easier with Griffey on the team making light of the situation. Always a professional and always ready to help out. The thing I remember the most is his love for his family and children. Truly a terrible loss and my heart goes out to his wife and children.
