Jeffrey A. Guy, 81 of Brick passed away at Ocean Medical Center on Friday March 24, 2023.  Jeffrey was born and raised in Neptune, moving to Lakewood 50 years ago. 

Jeffrey was a Central office Technician for Verizon for many years and enjoyed playing Poker every month with his friends.  He will fondly be remembered as a great outdoorsman and animal lover.  He liked camping, skiing, fishing and raising cats, dogs, squirrels in his backyard and once brought home an injured baby deer. 

Jeffrey is predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Brenner and his Step father Charles Brenner.  He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Barbara; his son Michael Guy of Lakewood and daughter Cynthia Lee Guy of Jackson.  Also surviving is his brother William Guy and wife Sheila of Ohio, his sister Carolyn Brenner and husband Andy of California, his granddaughter Mariah Davis and her husband Logan of Pennsylvania and nephew Paul Brenner and his wife Autumn of Florida and many more nieces and nephews. 

Memorial contributions in Jeffrey's honor can be made to an animal shelter of your choice.  

Cremation will be private and under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home, Brick, NJ.
