I am so sorry to read of Jeff's passing. We served together at PSD RTC Great Lakes in the mid-80s. He was always very funny, compassionate and a great friend. I was blessed and honored to know him.

My sincerest condolences to Master Chief's family. Master Chief was the first MC that I ever worked for. He was a great example to all that served with him and I am sure he was that way to the very end of his days. Sorry that it took this long to sign the book, I wasn't aware of his passing. A (second) cousin I never knew. I'm so sorry my cousin Armida ("Meecha") lost another of her boys way too soon. I just found this notice online, while looking for Meech, wondering why she didn't send her usual irreverent Christmas card last year and why she hasn't responded to my emails.

I am deeply saddened with the parting of my dear friend. Jeff and I had many great times and adventures together. Jeff was one of those "once in a lifetime" friends and, by God, you better be thankful for him in your life. I am. I graduated with Jeff

I served with Jeff on the USS COONTZ (DDG 40) back in the day. We were both E6s and working our way up the ranks. My deepest condolences to the family. How did he die? YNC(SW) Steve Miciak, USN (Ret.).
