Heartfelt condolences to the Hesler family ! When I just started to work in Terahertz technology in India, I had mailed Sir requesting for his thesis, to which he replied back and sent me his thesis. From there, I began my journey in this field. I shall always be grateful to him for this kind gesture. My deepest condolences to the Hesler family and the VDI community. May Jeffrey Hesler´s soul find eternal peace. I pray that the Almighty provides strength and solace to the family in this challenging time.

I'm deeply sorry for his untimely passing. My company has been a distributor in Japan for over 20 years. Jeffrey visited Japan many times, accompanying us to various universities and research institutions, where he provided appropriate suggestions using his wide-ranging knowledge, and we are grateful for his contributions to various research projects in the Millimeter-wave and THz fields. All of our employees pray for the repose of his soul.

I knew Jeffrey through my work for Submm receivers at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. His contributions to our work for the ALMA observatory and other astronomy projects have greatly benefitted from the contributions of Jeffrey. We owe him a lot for this. His passing is a shock to me. My sincere condolences to Jody and the rest of Jeffrey's family at this difficult time. As a senior citizen, it's shocking to hear of someone I remember as vibrant and joyful being taken at such an early age. May the days to come be easier to bear with pleasant and peaceful memories of time spent together and love shared.
