Uncle Jeff was a great guy. I always enjoyed going to the Kerlins house to spend time with their entire family.
I remember Uncle Jeff made the best omlete. It may seem silly but it makes me smile when I remember having that perfect omlete that only he could make.
I also remember celebrating New Years at the Kerlins. Uncle Jeff had a great collection of record's. Some of us would dance all night and Uncle Jeff and the guys would play cards. It was great!
It's still hard for me...

As one of Jeff's sister in laws the loss of him was devastating for the whole family. He was a fun guy. If it was within his power, he would do anything for you. Below is an excerpt from this website that I feel he would like to convey to the ones he left behind.
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here...

Nancy, I was struck with sadness when reading the News Sun and seeing that Jeff was called home. He was a wonderful man in all facets of his life. I met Jeff through my mom when he worked at the dress factory with her. I remember how he teased her about being afraid of mice, among other things…oh, the stories! Mom so loved Jeff. She will be both sad and glad to see him and I’m sure they’ll have lots of teasing to share. May God be with you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Nancy,
I was so sad to hear that Jeff has passed from this life to the next. My heart grievs for you. I have only seen the both of you a few times, but I have enjoyed the short time together. It is hard to think of him as gone on to a better place. My daughter cried when she found out. We had hoped to get to know your family better.
You and your family are in my prayers
