Not sure what to say?

I first met Jeff at WKHM in 1968. We had many fun times off and on the air. I will always remember his easy going attitude no matter how serious the challenge. Jeff -Thank you for your friendship!

Friendship, integrity, humor, and a wonderful smile - what a legacy for one person to leave to all us. You will be greatly missed.

Francoise emailed me with the news of Jeff's death. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Jeff's humor and care for others will be remembered and cherished. God bless him and all those who grieve.

Jeff had many gifts, it is true: a great sense of humor and performance, people skills--he liked people and people liked him, athletic skills, and many other gifts too of course. But I will remember something more. At the memorial service for Jeff on April 1st, 2006, Reverend Bob Doner recounted that Jeff was the first person to arrive at a funeral that the Reverend was also attending. I said to myself, “Yes, that would be Jeff”. Then I remembered seeing Jeff at my father’s funeral on...

There was only one Jeff Lebutt. Even 40 years later, his memory is so clear. Jeff had style and a remarkably easy going manner. Even as a teenager, he was comfortable in his own skin. I remember his striking good looks, his ease of manner, his humor--and his depth. In high school, I was smart and active, but never "cool." Jeff was cool!!! Because I am a Christian, I expect to rekindle the friendship some day. Thanks Jeff....you gave our whole class class.

Diane and family:
We just learned of Jeff's death from Megan last night. We are so truly sorry. We will miss seeing Jeff most every day out in the yard, watering or leaf blowing or packing up the golf clubs. He always had a smile and a wave for us. Looking at your house we know it will never be the same without his gentle smile and wonderful laugh! If there's anything we can do or if you just need to talk, just give a holler, we're here for you.

Jeff, may you forever be...

What a loss! Jeff was so much fun, and he always seemed to enjoy life. He lightened up every place he went.

I came to WKHM Radio from a station up north and worked on the air with Jeff for years. Jeff and I did the Live Broadcast of All High School Football and Basketball Games through out the county and around the state. To this day we both still receive a Thank You from various guys who played on teams that we broadcast together. Thank You Jeff for your partnership and your on air professionalism. I hope there is a radio station in Heaven so we can do it again sometime.

When Jeff brought his 6th grade autograph book to our last high school reunion, we not only had a good laugh, but it served as a reminder that friendships last a lifetime. Unfortunately his passing leaves a piece missing in that collective memory of a simpler time. Although this void can never be filled, we're ever grateful that his kind words, easy demeanor and ready laugh touched us all. Good-bye Jeff and "thanks for the memories."
