Jeffrey Marchese Obituary
Mr. Marchese was born in Hartford, the son of the late Richard and Marilyn (Kozak) Marchese. He had been employed for 24 years as a steamfitter and was a member of Steamfitters Local No. 777, formerly the Steamfitters Local No. 218 of Hartford. He loved to travel throughout the western states, especially Montana and the Yellowstone Park area. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Marchese is survived by his brother, Anthony Marchese of Niantic; and by his sister, Jennifer Lo Grasso, and her two daughters; Alexandria and Taylor Lo Grasso, all of Greenwich. He also leaves his stepson, Michael Mehl of Farmington.
On Monday, April 5, 2010, calling hours will be at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, from 4 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectively invited to attend a memorial service on premise at 7 p.m. The interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or memorial donations, the family asks that you please pray for Jeffrey's everlasting life and eternal peace.

Jeff was like an older brother to me, as well as Anthony, always the gentlemen and one of the kindest men I ever met in my life. When he came to Fl in 2002, he made sure he visited with me and we had a nice walk on Pompano Beach and reminisced of the wonderful memories we had with all our friends in East Hartford. He will be sadly missed and my sincere condolences to the entire Marchese family.

Jeff's Family, We send our best to your family. I only knew Jeff for about two and a half years. We came to become close friends, he was always there to lend a hand. He will be truly missed by all.
