Jeff, Chief...you left us much too soon. Thank you for all you did for Westover, AMXS and the training program. I'm glad I got to stop by the Thursday before Christmas to see you before you retired. I'll cherish that visit, even if you did laugh at my singing! Shelli and family, holding you all in my heart and praying for strength and comfort, courage and grace to face each day in a new reality that you hadn't planned on. Words are not worthy of expressing how truly great a man Jeff Mccarthy was. In life and especially the military I've gotten to know a lot of good and honorable guys, people I look up to, respect, appreciate and am happy to call friends.

Then there are very few people I've ever met personally that go beyond that for me.. Chief Jeff Mccarthy went way beyond that for me..and I'm sure countless others.
