Not sure what to say?

I am very sad to see the loss of Jeff. As a teenager I remember him driving Dave and me to a bus stop in Portage and listening to his comments in the morning about everything. I wish I understood his dry humor as a teenager, because it took me years to laugh. I now miss those years, but I still remember the days of Mr. Mehring sitting in his lazy boy on Sunday and no one could change the channel because he was going to watch football. As I type this, I am laughing about his comments and...

We are so very sorry for your loss, we can't imagine not seeing Jeff out mowing the edge of the drive...checking on his tree plantings...clearing snow from the drive. Just quietly taking care his beloved land. He is an irreplaceable soul and like so many others, we will miss him; our hearts ache for you.

My sympathy goes out to the Mehring family. I will miss Jeff's emails and updating him on the hunting reports during deer season. He was a great guy and we will miss him.

AS YOU KNOW WE ARE VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS--IT IS HARD FOR US TO THINK THAT WE WILL NOT SEE THAT WHITE DODGE PICK-UP PULL UP IN OUR DRIVEWAY ANYMORE--FOR ME IT WILL BE HARDER ,IF I DEER HUNT THIS YEAR , TO NOT SEE HIS TRUCK PARKED BACK BY HIS WOODS--HE SURE WAS A GOOD FRIEND--
