I knew Jeff growing up, through high school, church and college. Jeff was a great guy and always a good friend. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family.

Many people did not know Jeff well during the last few years of his life and I know that there were many, many pieces of his life which will remain a mystery to me. However, he was a wonderful, compassionate, kind, funny man who loved his children, mother and the rest of his family and friends more than most will know.
He was an avid runner, artist and dog lover who volunteered for a number local charities as well as coached lacrosse. He enjoyed attending the Carolina Panthers and...

Darrell and I are saddened by Jeff's death. Jeff was either the second or third person I hired. I hired him because he was an Eagle Scout and he promised me that he would finish his college education if I hired him. It took longer than either he or I thought it would to obtain his college degree, but when he finally did I regarded it as one of the more positive things I influenced while I was at the court.
