Jeffrey Newton

Jeffrey was born on July 2, 1948 and passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Jeffrey was a resident of Hickory, North Carolina at the time of passing. A graduate of Hickory High School, Jeff attended both Wingate College, where he played soccer and golf, and Lenoir Rhyne College. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 in the chapel at Bass-Smith Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 - 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
