The years that have passed have done so without your funny face. You are remembered, loved and missed each and everyday. While we have learned to take a step forward without you, those steps are sometimes very heavy. Just letting you know you are remembered.

There are few words to express the emptiness and loss we still feel. On your birthday, we stop an extra minute longer than we normally do each day, to think of you, remember your life and to honor you. Never forgotten, never. You are loved still.

So, as March starts, April approaches. You will be 25 forever. Not a day goes by that you are not thought of and remembered and perhaps our tears are less frequent and our hearts less heavy, but the absence of you is ever felt and the loss is just as strong. We speak your name often, remember you kindly and with laughter as we cover the emptiness that our lives are without you. GOD WE MISS YOU CONRAD. ALL OF US.

Devastating death... so very soul sobering. Devastating, because of the parents left behind, who shouldn't have to out live thier baby boy. All our hearts, and prayers go out to his family this morning of mourning.
Conrad Nicklus died only to live forever with our heavenly Father.
He was at the least a friendly and familiar face in the hall way to everyone our age, but he was a gentle and genuine soul.

Conrad,
Your family loved you. More than words can express. Your friends loved you, more than most friends will every see in their lives. Everything changed in one singular moment and as the shattered peices of what is left behind are carefully put back together, while they will never fit quite the same, it is your love that will be the glue to hold them tight. We keep your mom, dad and sister in our prayers while you allow the rains to heal their hearts.

Conrad,
I can't believe you are gone. With you you buried so much of my happiness. I promise I will make you proud, as I'm sure you were when I cried like a baby speaking at your funeral. I love you, and I promise to take the time to see your family as much as possible. You live in me now, and I love you so.
