Jeff and I were second cousins. When we were in our teenage years we would get together, ride around in his hot car, ride snowmobiles, and talk about our girlfriends. As the years went by our paths would cross occasionally and it was always great to catch up. He was always upbeat, ready to laugh, and have some fun. I grew up with Jeff. We went to school together from K - 12. We worked on cars together. We even had an old 66 or 67 Impala with a 283 engine that we (Jeff, Steve Graham, and Dan Williams) towed up to Martin US 131 Dragway a few times one summer. I think it ran 19. something for the quarter mile and boy did we think that car was something. Had a lot of good times with Jeff and will always remember him as a good friend.

We met Jeff this last summer at the 4th of July ball game. We talked at church and on the phone a few times. Though knowing him only a short time we had some good discussions. We send our sympathies to mom Joyce and our prayers.

Jeff was the boy next door and he was my first Best friend. We grew up together and there was never a dull moment. Sometimes we would get in trouble but we always blamed each other so our parents never really knew who to punish, it was a system that worked good for us. We went through crushes, loves and breakups and he was always there for...
