PARTRIDGE, Jeffrey Carl, age 51 , died suddenly on October 24, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Jean and Walter Scott Partridge; and sister, Katherine Jean Partridge. He is survived by his sons, Samuel Scott Partridge of Mechanicsville and Luther Jeffrey Partridge of Raleigh, N.C.; one brother, David Scott Partridge of Mechanicsville; one sister, Rhonda McKinnon of Clayton, N.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 27, at Mount Vernon Baptist Church , 11220 Nuckols Rd. Burial will be private.

To the family of our friend Jeff... We are so shocked and sad to learn of Jeff's passing. We have known Jeff for 31 years and had some fun times together. We will miss his happy ways. Our thought and prayers are with his family.

I am saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. I met Jeff about 30 years ago when we worked at the bank. I had lost touch for a while but saw him last about 5 years ago. He was a sweet, gentle person to his friends and loved his sons. My prayers go out to his family at this difficult time.

Though I have not seen Jeff in a number of years, my ex-husband and myself used to socialize with he and Tracy when they were married. I remember him as a kind hearted person that will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to his family.
