Not sure what to say?

I had him for 8th grade history, one of my siblings had an open house and he was out for surgery from what I heard. It deeply saddens me to know that he has passed.

My deepest condolences to Piper family. Truly a gentleman, I remember visiting Westfield, taking in a hockey game in Hartford, great memories.

Mr. Piper was a great teacher! Remembered by many students ( and staff)! Condolences to the family!

As I´m sure you know, Mr.Piper was one of the greatest teachers at south middle. His humor could make your day turn around in an instance which is much needed when you´re a middle schooler. And I didn´t even have him as a teacher! I simply was siblings with someone who did yet he treated me as one of his own. Whenever my sister and me discuss our favorite teachers he is the first to be mentioned. I have nothing but good things to say about Mr.Piper. My thoughts and prayers will be with your...

Mr. Piper was our 8th grade social studies teacher and mentor for the infamous North vs. South soccer and basketball games. He was the face of South Middle School in the best way possible. He was always kind and making jokes. I still remember sitting in one of his classes when his first son was born. Even years later, he would still come up in conversation as we reminisced about the good times we had at South and in his class. He truly cared about his students and made learning enjoyable. All...

Mr. Piper was one of my absolute favorites and I was lucky to have him as my homeroom teacher too. He made learning fun, interesting, and engaging, so much so that I still think back on some of the things I learned in his class! Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Tracy & family I met you two at Mike and Linda´s Christmas parties. I loved talking to you about your boys and enjoying the most recent pictures of them. The last time I saw Jeff I gave him my recipe for broccoli salad that he loved! Please accept my condolences at this sad time and I will pray for you. Sincerely Diane DeMoss

I will miss seeing you and your boys riding bikes and shooting hoops in front of my house. Rest in peace my dear neighbor
