Not sure what to say?

Dear Jim,Sue and family,
I was so stunned to hear of Jeff's passing. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and his family. Jim,Jeff and so many others had a blast at John Knox YKC's. The fun we shared in those teenage years will stay with us all. From snipp hunting to campfires and camp overs. Jim,I'll keep those memories for a lifetime and wish you peace in this difficult time. YKC Janice Hall(Zoerner)God Bless

Sue, Jim, and Family,

I am sorry to hear of your loss. It had been such a long time since I had talked to Jeff. I remember bowling, sleep overs and youth group. He had just come up in a story about how we almost burned down the woods behind the house on 60th that I was telling to my kids. A few days later I read about his death in the paper. I only wish that I could turn back time and talk to my old friend. May God grant you his peace and grace in full measure during this difficult...

Dear Sue,

I was shocked and so very saddened to hear about Jeff! My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. May God keep His loving arms around you all---today and always!

My last memory of Jeff was at the Whitecaps not more than a few weeks ago. After we spoke and reminisced about our D&W antics, I turned and watched him valiantly trying to balance a heaping tray of hotdogs in one hand while carrying a drink in the other back to his hungry family!...

I wish you and your family healing thoughts in this time of your life. Having been in the same position myself less than a year ago my heart goes out to you.

Dearest Family and Friends,

I am back in Ann Arbor getting my lesson plans prepared for school next week... On a whim... I jumped on-line to get a copy of his obituary to include in a DVD I am making and to include in my family history... I was shocked to see so many... many... people had signed this electronic guest book. Honestly, I did not even know there was such a thing as a guest book on-line.

Your comments, prayers, and warm wishes have helped all of our family...

There are no words to fix, there are no actions to undo. There is no guilt. There is only the ability to take daily steps and learn to comparmentalize the effects of your loss. Time attenuates the hurting and as it passes, it is suplanted by some good memories that get you through.
Our best to you all,
Steve and Betty Dikeman

Dear Sue Potts & Family:

I have been a part of the Kent District Council for some time now and although I didn't personally know you and Jeff, I know you were an inspiration to scouts and leaders alike. I was there as you both received a family award at the past Kent District awards - obviously an award that was well deserved.

Please know that that in your time of need, your family of scouters are here for you.

Keep the scouting spirit in your heart, it will...

Jeff had an incalculable positive impact on my life. I worked for him for two and a half years at D&W. As a boss, he was the best kind. Firm, honest and fair. He put his best effort forward to ensure his employees' success. He was always there for us... even in the middle of the night... on weekends... or even Christmas Eve. Integrity was apparent in his every action.
After leaving D&W, he became a friend and mentor to me. One could not find a better role-model to base their core...

Sue,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. You and your family are continually in my thoughts and prayers.
