Jeffrey Dwaine Quinn, age 49, passed away unexpectedly at his Murfreesboro home on June 12, 2018.
A life long resident of Tennessee, Jeff was born in San Diego, California. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He held a variety of jobs throughout his working career. Jeff attended the First Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro.
Jeff was best known for his generous, giving spirit, always willing to help anyone with their needs. He genuinely cared deeply about his family and his innumerable friends. Jeff was known for his love of animals and for his artistic abilities. His quirky sense of humor and childlike exuberance for life will be greatly missed.
Jeff was a brain cancer survivor of 10 years and positively faced many challenges during the last years of his life with determination to overcome any obstacles.
Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert and Elizabeth Quinn; his maternal grandmother, Kathleen Yates.
He is survived by his father, Lawrence (Charlotte) Quinn of Murfreesboro; his mother, Sandra L. Quinn, Old Hickory; his beloved brother, Marc (Mindy) Quinn of Nashville; his beloved sister, Debra (Joel) Quinn-Barnes of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; one nephew, Gabriel Barnes of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Other survivors include his step-brother, Cayce (Melissa) Brookshire of Alabama and their children, along with his maternal grandfather, Howard Yates, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Woodfin Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 am until 1 pm with the service beginning at 1 pm in the Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private for family only at the Evergreen Cemetery, Murfreesboro.

Larry and Charlotte, words can not express how saddened I am to hear about your Son, Jeff. I did not know you had a son living in Murfreesboro, or one that had survived cancer.
