It´s crazy how I´m a full decade older now than you were. How much time has passed. Wishing my kids would have met and known you. Having every student who joins the dojo learn your name so they know you were the one who taught me and passed along the lineage of Ninjutsu. Time is a weird thing , almost moving and frozen at singular moments

Time seems an enigmatic thing. So much has gone by but I still I feel you a part of every significant happening. You were always my friend but also my senior, my teacher and example. In just 3 more years, I will have been teaching Ninjutsu for 20 years. Still, I can feel your corrections and feedback as if I were a beginner. I hope, in some ways, I´ve done well to carry on a gift you gave that can never be repaid.

Jeff, you will always have a place in my heart. Ill be in Boulder next week and will stop by the Starbucks you used to work. I go there every year to remember you.
