Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss, words for me tend not to flow as easily as the tears. I can think back to the days of age group swimming at the Y and smile remembering Jeff and his antics and even at a young age, his bravado. Be assured you and yours remain in our prayers. May Jeff's soul and all the faithfully departed rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to Tara and all of Jeff's family. I was shocked by the news of Jeff's passing. I worked with Jeff at Sterling Equities. Jeff was a great guy who always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Smits, I am so sorry for the loss of Jeff. I remember Jeff as my cool neighbor growing up. I am so sad for your family and my thoughts and prayers are with you. I will be thinking of you and especially Bryan during these hard times. I know he will always be with you.

It is with great sadness that I send my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Jeff's wife Tara and the rest of Jeff's family at this most difficult time. I have so many great memories with Jeff surfing, water-skiing in Lloyds bayou, boating on Spring Lake and just hanging out. He always lived life to the fullest and I admired that about him. He also had a huge heart and was,in every sense of the word, my friend and a great guy. I always felt lucky to have him as a friend and I will miss...

Jeff lived a passionate life and I will miss him immensely. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tara, family and friends. I was lucky enough to spend hours in and on the water with him fishing, sailing, racing, sufing...it did not matter. Jeff was at home on the rivers, bays and ocean; maybe more at home there, than on land.

I will miss his hearty laugh and beaming smile.

Peace Jeffery.

Penny and Bill, Troy and Bryan, my heart just breaks for you...I remember so many wonderful times with your family and Jeffrey was such a special part of those occasions...Your pride in and support for all your sons was always so evident. Sending my condolences, prayers, and lots of love...

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of Jeff. He was a dear childhood friend, and one of my first swimmng buddies. Truly one of the nicest, friendliest, and happiest people I have ever known. My thoughts are with all of Jeff's friends and loved ones. Audra Miller Troccko (Grand Haven, MI)

Dear Tara and Jeff's Family,
You have all been in my thoughts and prayers. I have had the priviledge of working with Jeff over the past three years - on Devonshire House and we were just embarking on a new project together. Even in stressful work situations, Jeff always kept his cool and made me smile (and laugh!). He had a heart of gold and an amazing attitude towards work and towards life. We will miss him very, very much.

Tara, I'm so shocked and saddened by Jeffs sudden passing. I hope you are surrounded by your family and close friends right now, I'm sure you are. They will help you get through this hardest time ever. Jeff always had such a great sense of humor, and quick wit. The picture of him on the obit is a great one, and you obviously made each other so happy! Take care sweetie, I will say a prayer for you and his family.
