Jeffrey Vernon Tubbs M.D.

He was my doctor since birth . He Always had a bright smile and knew had to light up the room with it .always positive was just so knowledgeable I was saddened to hear he passed I know it's been a couple years but I'm glad finally writing this.

I just became aware of Jeff's passing.

With shared sadness observing
that the world
is a less kind,
a less smart,
a less expansive,
& a less thoughtful
place.

With a smile,
he is recalled ("Captain America");
now also with a heart's sadness (clearly shared!)
acknowledging-
former schoolmate, friend, eventually colleague;
you will be missed!

Well, we were in high school at the same time and he was about the Number One 'most-smart kid' in our Class of 1972 (I feel like I remember him being a National Merit Scholar). He had beautiful 'piano' hands and I recall when I learned he'd become a physician and was returning to practice in Santa Paula (probably mid-1980s), that what he also had was hands of a doctor or a surgeon. Dr. Tubbs was my dr for over 30 years. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed! He always had time to sit with me and listen to anything. We even had talks about camping. He was a great dr and I trusted him completely! I will miss him so much! I’m so sad!

Dr Tubbs, I will never forget you my friend. You were always there when me and my kids needed you. You were an amazing human being and I am forever grateful to you. Rest In Peace Dr Tubbs.❤

We were so sad to hear of Dr. Tubbs departure from this world. He was a wonderful Doctor. He kept my mom and dad in good health for many years. He listened to his patients and treated them with such respect. He always went the extra mile. At our last in person visit, he spoke of retiring in about two years. Dr. Tubbs was my doctor for over 30 years. He was our family doctor and he was more than that, he was a true friend. He was sincere, thoughtful, and caring. Dr. Tubbs was a very kind and attentive doctor. I have been a patient of his for over 30 years and he always instilled confidence in regards to my health and made me feel very comfortable. He was a wonderful man and he will be missed.
